We are looking for an experienced Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Advisor to join the Project Delivery Team based in Perth, WA.  Reporting to the State Manager, you will support the site through the provision of consultation, advice and delivery of HSE activities that facilitate the Project team to deliver on HSE outcomes.   

As the Safety Officer, you will:

  • Participate in project meetings
  • Provide guidance and training on systems compliance
  • Conduct regular site inspections
  • Identify risks and collaborate with the team to implement suitable actions
  • Coordination and oversight of Incident management
  • Assist in site management activities as required
  • Facilitate training and toolbox talks
  • Coordinate internal and external audits

 

As the ideal applicant you will possess:   

  • A minimum Cert IV OHS qualification
  • Prior experience in a safety focused role within the construction industry, preferably within the Industrial sector
  • Proficiency with automated safety management systems such as 1BreadCrumb, Hammertech, etc.
  • Working knowledge of WHS best practice and legislative requirements
  • An effective communicator and relationship builder
  • An understanding of how to drive, develop and maintain safety behaviours
