The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Estimating Cadet to join our Melbourne team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in construction estimating while learning from experienced industry professionals.

You’ll gain hands-on exposure to the full estimating lifecycle across a diverse range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing tender submissions and cost estimates
• Review drawings, specifications and project documentation
• Support quantity take-offs and cost analysis
• Assist with subcontractor and supplier pricing
• Maintain estimating databases and documentation
• Work closely with the Estimating and Pre-Construction teams

About You

• Studying or recently completed a degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or similar
• Passion for numbers
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (or willing to learn)
• A genuine interest in construction and estimating
